Jin Kuramoto^[1]

Japanese designer Jin Kuramoto, born in 1976, founded his namesake studio, JIN KURAMOTO STUDIO INC., in 2008. His design approach is deeply hands-on, involving extensive prototyping and material experimentation. Kuramoto values what he calls ‘positive accidents’—unexpected discoveries that arise through iterative testing. His work spans furniture, home appliances, and everyday items, and he has received multiple international awards, including the Red Dot Best of the Best and the iF Product Design Award.
