German industrial designer Stefan Diez founded his Munich-based studio in 2003. Coming from a background in cabinetmaking, Diez applies hands-on craftsmanship to his design process, resulting in highly refined and functional pieces. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Stuttgart, he has earned international recognition, winning awards such as the iF Gold Award and Red Dot Best of the Best. His future-oriented design philosophy focuses on creating sustainable, high-quality furniture.
