Matteo Fogale^[1]

Born in Uruguay to an Italian family, Fogale grew up surrounded by a rich mix of European and South American craft traditions. After relocating to Italy in 2001, he studied at the Art School Leonardo da Vinci and IUAV University in Venice. A 2015 collaboration with Laetitia de Allegri earned a Wallpaper* Design Award. Now based in London, his work combines the warmth of Brazilian design with the refined precision of Scandinavian aesthetics.
