Designed by Copenhagen-based OEO Studio, the Ita series is born in a forested region of northern Poland. Produced in a family-owned factory with decades of expertise, Ita reflects a deep commitment to craftsmanship and sustainable practices.
Each piece is made from FSC®-certified oak and recycled materials, ensuring responsible sourcing. The wood is carefully shaped, veneered, and finished with water-based lacquer to enhance durability and indoor air quality.
Named after the Japanese word for “wood plank,” Ita draws from miyadaiku carpentry—an ancient technique using precise joinery without glue. This allows for easy disassembly, repair, and flat-packing, reducing environmental impact and extending product life.
